iOS 6 Do Not Disturb Bug - Business Insider

Apple has indicated that there is a bug with the Do Not Disturb feature on its iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches.

After the new year, some users' Do Not Disturb settings stopped working when they were scheduled ahead of time.

Do Not Disturb is a setting that stops your iPhone from ringing or displaying notifications unless it's from someone important.

Ironically, Apple released a new iPhone 5 commercial this week that touts the feature.

Apple has indicated that the problem will correct itself after January 7 and has no plans to fix it sooner.

Until then, you should be manually turning Do Not Disturb on and off as needed.
